Description: This study aims to find out the assessment of educational material by students new to university and also the difference in this evaluation by gender and specialization. The study was conducted at Ibn Khaldoun University of Tiaret, where the study sample was 81 (38 male students and 43 female students). in social and human sciences, and the analytical descriptive methodological tool that was used. two tools were conducted, An evaluation tool composed of 9 items to evaluate the learning process, and the second composed of 60 items to evaluate teachers by students After statistical analyzes of the data, the study came up with the following results: There are no gender differences in the assessment of teaching materials from the perspective of new students. There are no differences between the two specialties (social sciences and humanities) in the assessment of teaching materials and that of teachers.
