| Abstract: | تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن طبيعة العلاقة بين الطلبة الجامعيين وموسوعة ويكيبيديا، من حيث أنماط الاستخدام، ودرجة الاعتماد، ومدى تأثير ذلك على جودة الممارسة البحثية داخل الوسط الجامعي. انطلقت الدراسة من فرضية مفادها أن الموسوعة الحرة تمثل مصدرًا معرفيًا بارزًا، لكن استخدامها غير الموجه قد يُفضي إلى ضعف في العمق العلمي والدقة المنهجية للبحوث الجامعية. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتم تنفيذ الجانب التطبيقي على عينة من 105 طالبًا من مختلف سنوات التكوين بقسم الإعلام والاتصال بجامعة ابن خلدون – تيارت، باستخدام الاستبيان كأداة لجمع البيانات، مع تحليل النتائج إحصائيًا باستخدام برنامج SPSS. |
| Description: | This study explores how students from the Department of Media and Communication at Ibn Khaldoun University use Wikipedia in academic research. Based on a sample of 105 students, the research identifies usage patterns, the level of trust in Wikipedia’s content, and its effect on research quality. Findings show that Wikipedia is widely used for initial topic exploration, though often without critical evaluation. While students recognize its limitations, many still rely on it as a primary source. The study highlights the need for academic training on proper and critical use of open-source platforms like Wikipedia. |
