Résumé: تهدف هذه الدراسة الى استكشاف دور الوصول الحر في دعم الدراسات الأكاديمية وتعزيز البحث العلمي لدى طلبة الدكتوراه بكلية العلوم الانسانية والاجتماعية بجامعة ابن خلدون تيارت، وذلك من خلال تحليل طبيعة الموارد المتاحة عبر منصات الوصول المفتوح، وتقييم مدى اعتماد الطلبة عليها.
Description: This study aims to explore the role of open access in supporting academic studies and enhancing scientific research among doctoral students at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Ibn Khaldoun University of Tiaret. It focuses on analyzing the nature of resources available through open access platforms and assessing the extent to which students rely on them, as well as examining their impact on improving the quality and accelerating the completion of research. The findings reveal that a significant portion of students—particularly first-year PhD candidates—demonstrate a marked reliance on open access sources such as Google Scholar and ASJP, benefiting from the diversity of digital content available, including academic theses, peer-reviewed articles, and e-books. The study confirmed a considerable level of academic awareness among students regarding the value of peer-reviewed scientific research and its direct connection to key indicators of high-quality research such as methodology, referencing, and originality. Furthermore, it highlighted a clear positive impact of open access on the development of research processes, despite the persistence of certain technical and cognitive challenges, such as poor internet connectivity and a lack of training in information literacy skills.
