Description: | In an era of accelerating technological innovations and changing lifestyles, there is a need to understand the impact these developments are having on women's paid domestic work and on e-commerce. Through a comprehensive note, we analyze the challenges and opportunities faced by women working from home in an increasingly virtual economy and how the internet has changed the known economic and social structures. This note reviews the multidimensional dynamics of paid domestic work – a sector often overlooked in economic debates in its traditional and modern framework, focusing on the roles women play and the value they bring to economies. The note also examines how women have invested in digital technology to build an online business, which not only opens up new markets for them, but also gives them the ability to reconcile work requirements with household burdens. Drawing on examples of personal experiences and specific case studies, the memorandum aims to provide an in-depth look at how women can harness ecommerce to achieve financial independence and improve their working conditions at home, and how communities and governments can support these efforts. Here we present a summary that paves the way for a deeper understanding of these crucial and interactive matters. Through this study, we have drawn the most important results E-commerce has helped women to be financially independent and also to raise the standard of living in addition to increasing personal income As for the results of the second hypothesis, we mention that many women found it difficult to finance their project and promote their goods, as well as difficulty in attracting customers . |
