| Description: | This study examines the theme of heritage personality in modern Algerian theater through "El Ajwad" play by Abdekader Allola, foucusing on its artistic construction .lt also adresses the emergence of Algerian theater, highlighting its pioneers, their achievements and the issues that concerned Algerian playwrights. Additionally, it aims to define heritage and personality in all its forms (traditional, religious and folk), along with defining theatrical characters of all types (main, secondary,...) and their various objective dimension (physiological, social and psychological )which are closely interrelated. Alloula's emphasis on moral qualities over physical attributes stems from his interest in building characters from within rather than focusing solely on external features, significantly contributing to understanding the characters in "El Ajwad" and their role in conveying the play's social message |
