Abstract:	تعتبر الصحراء الجزائرية من بين أكثر المناطق أهمية في بلاد المغرب الاسلامي، وذلك بفضل الموقع الاستراتيجي الذي تحتله، باعتبارها همزة وصل بين المغرب الاسلامي وبلاد السودان الغربي، ومسلكا تجاريا ومعبرا للقوافل، وهذا راجع إلى اتساع رقعتها وانتشار المدن بها، ولعل من بين أكثر المدن الصحراوية أهمية في بلاد المغرب الاسلامي عامة والمغرب الأوسط خاصة مدينة بسكرة، والتي هي من أقدم وأجلّ المدن الصحراوية في المغرب الأوسط، وقد حضيت هذه المدينة بقسط وفير من كتابات المؤرخين والجغرافيين والرحالة، خاصة المغاربة والأندلسيين منهم، لما لها من موقع متميّز ودور بارز في شتى المجالات خاصة في المجال الاجتماعي والاقتصادي والديني
Description:	:The Algerian Sahara is among the most important territories in the Islamic Maghreb, regarding to its strategic location as a point linking the Islamic Maghreb and the countries of Western Sudan, with trade routes and caravans. There was a lot of cities wich emerged in this wide territory, and perhaps one of the most important Saharian cities in the Islamic Maghreb is the city of Biskra, which is one of the oldest and longest Saharan cities in the Maghreb, it has been a great interest in city writings of historians, geographers and travelers, especially Maghribans and Andalusians, because of its privileged location and role in various sectors especially in the social ,Economic and religious.
