Al-Ibar: Journal for Historical and Archaeological Studies IJHAS Al-Ibar Journal for Historical and Archaeological Studies is a non-profit academic scholarly journal issued by the University of Tiaret under the scientific supervision of a competent international reading committee of scientific specialists including assistant editors and reviewers specializing in the field of knowledge and foreign languages. In addition to their scientific contribution, the members of the editorial board run the journal technically and coordinate its work. Al-Ibar journal was established in the beginning of 2018 and publishes annually one volume that includes two issues, which researchers can deal with according to the rules of free exploitation (Open Access) that takes into account the protection of copyright and ensures its preservation. The main objective behind its establishment is to encourage researchers of different sects, congregations and nationalities to research the history and antiquities of North Africa in particular, and the general population over long historical periods from the dawn of history to the contemporary period, to present and deepen historical and archaeological scientific research problems, and publish the results of research and theoretical and practical studies to serve humanity and advance the locomotive of national development. Al-Ibar journal is open for publishing scientific articles in Arabic and foreign languages, especially English, and French from all researchers in the world in the following research fields: history, archeology, museology, Islamic history and civilization, history of thought and philosophy of science. All researchers’ contributions are subject to confidential bilateral arbitration by cooperating experts, and require the originality of the work, the integrity of the language and the used method, the observance of formal conditions, the non-adoption of ethnic discourse, religious sectarian intolerance and the spread of a culture of exclusion, terrorism and hatred.
