| Abstract: | حظي زاوي بن مناد فور دخوله الاندلس بمعية جموع من بربر صنهاجة ، بالمكانة التي تليق بمقامه كقائد من سلالة بني زيري اصحاب افريقية ، فقد خُصّ بمنصب الحجابة لدى الامويين، وازدادت مكانته السياسية والعسكرية، ابّان الفتنة القرطبية، حين قاد البربر في جبهات القتال الى جانب سليمان المستعين الذي تربع على كرسي الخلافة، وكافأ زاوي ومَن معه من البربر بالإمارة على البيرة وغرناطة. وهو من حدد موقعها اشرف على بناء دُورها وقصورها |
| Description: | after his entering the Andalus with a group of Berber Sunhajah, Zawi ben Manad, gained an important position as a leader of the Beni Ziri dynasty , Ifrikia’s owners. He was rewarded a high rank among the Umayads, and his political and military status increased during Granada’s discord when he led the Berbers in fighting beside Sulaimane El-Moustaine who came to power and rewarded Zaoui and those who were with him from Berbers to rule Al-Bira and Granada and he was the planner and the builder of its houses and palaces.
