| Abstract: | يتناول هذا المقال دراسة بيوغرافية لأحد شيوخ جمعية العلماء المسلمين، الذين نشطوا بمنطقة الغرب الجزائري قبل اندلاع الثورة التحريرية، وهو محمد بن محمد بن بشير القباطي. ويتطرق الباحث فيه إلى نشاطه التربوي والإصلاحي بعدة مناطق بالغرب الجزائري وخاصة الغزوات ثم سيدي بلعباس. كما يوضح معاناة شيوخ جمعية العلماء المسلمين من الاضطهاد الفرنسي وسياسته القمعية، ويعكس أيضا الدور الذي لعبته الجمعية من خلال شيوخها في الثورة التحريرية، إذ يوضح المقال الدور الجهادي لمحمد القباطي عند التحاقه بالثورة في قواعدها الخلفية بالمغرب الأقصى. |
| Description: | This article deals with a biographical of one of the leaders of the Association of Oulemas, who were active in in the region of west Algeria before the outbreak of the liberation revolution, namely Mohamed Ibn Mohammed Ibn Bachir al-Quabati. The researcher deals with al-Quabati’s educational and reform activities in several areas in the west of Algeria, especially Ghazzaouat and then Sidi Bel Abbes. It also illustrates the suffering of the leaders of the Association of Oulemas from the French oppression, and also reflects the role played by the Assembly through the work of its members in the liberation revolution. The article clarifies the jihadist role of Mohammed al-Quabati when he joined the revolution in its rear bases in Morocco. |
