| Résumé: | هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل واقع استخدام التكنولوجيا المالية في الوطن العربي مع إبراز أهم التحديات التي تعترض تطبيقها وتعرقل مساعي هذه الدول لتبني مبادئها، وتحديد أثر جائحة فيروس كورونا Covid 19 على صناعة التكنولوجيا المالية مع تسليط الضوء على أهم التجارب في هذا الميدان حيث ركزنا على تجربة كل من البحرين، المملكة العربية السعودية والإمارات العربية المتحدة لأنها تمثل قوة عالمية ولها الريادة في صناعتها. وخلصت هذه الدراسة إلى أن التكنولوجيا المالية هي كل اختراع وابتكار يعتمد على التكنولوجيا لتطوير قطاع التمويل، وعلى الرغم من التقدم الذي شهدته هذه الدول في استخدام التكنولوجيا المالية، إلا أنها تبقى تواجه تحديات وصعوبات تتمثل في الدعم المؤسسي الأوسع الذي لا يزال محدودا وعدم اليقين القانوني يتسبب في فجوات تنظيمية التي تعيق نمو هذا القطاع الحساس. |
| Description: | The present study seeks to examine the use of financial technology in the Arab world. It referrs to the different set of obstacles that the latter may encounter in practice. A chief matter that this study adresses is the impact of Covid19 Pandemic on financial technology industry by bringing into light some of the important experiments in this field. To this end, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates have been selected as a case study to work on since they are experts in that given field. This study findings reveal that financial technology can be referred to as any creative innovation that largely depends on technology to develop the financial sector. Moreover, it is worthy of note to state that despite the achievement that the above mentioned countries have witnessed with regard to the use of financial technology, it becomes obvious that they still meet new challenges and obstacles concerning the institutional support which appears to be very limited, preventing them from moving forward. |
