Abstract: This study investigates the influence of English streaming platforms on EFL learners' identities. In addition, it focuses on the changes that appear in the student's attitude and behavior, along with their academic identity, which is concerned with how students manage the educational environment. In this context, to examine the hypothesis assumed that streaming media has a significant effect on learners' identities, a questionnaire was distributed to third-year license students, and an interview was conducted with teachers at the department of English Tiaret University. It was advantageous to combine a questionnaire with an interview in order to optimize the use of both quantitative and qualitative data. An SPSS was used to examine the data collected. The findings showed an impact of the media on many aspects of the learners' sense of self and academic identity. The results show that the participants had a positive effect on how the media was used, and it was suggested that integrating streaming platforms into EFL classrooms would be a good way to teach the language.
