Abstract: In this study, we propose an approach for determining the cutting conditions for machining operations of the milling or turning type. For this, the problem has been formulated as a nonlinear optimization problem under constraints. Sound processing is carried out using sequential quadratic programming. This approach makes it possible to determine the machining conditions that minimize the costs and the production time and improve the quality of the manufactured products.
