dc.description	This study aims to address the question of the extent to which the industrial sector has contributed to supporting efforts at economic diversification in recent years specifically over the period 2019–2024 against the backdrop of challenges related to the hydrocarbon sector’s long-term dependency. It also seeks to evaluate the degree of diversification in the Algerian economy by diagnosing and analyzing the state of the industrial sector during the same period and by assessing government policies. To answer the research, question the study relies on analytical and descriptive methods, using the Herfindahl–Hirschman Index to measure economic diversification. The study arrives at several key findings. First, the Algerian industrial sector suffers from structural imbalance, and its contribution to GDP remains below the desired level due to weak infrastructure dependence on imports, and unstable industrial policies, among other factors. To activate the sector’s long-term role, a range of measures has been proposed to improve the business and investment climate: developing human capital; financing small and medium-sized enterprises encouraging partnerships and technology transfer; strengthening governance and oversight; and supporting industrial exports	en_US
dc.description.abstract	تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم مساهمة القطاع الصناعي في دعم جهود التنويع الاقتصادي في السنوات الأخيرة أي خلال الفترة 2019 -2024 وذلك في ظل التحديات المرتبطة بالتبعية الطويلة لقطاع المحروقات، كما تهدف هاته الدراسة أيضا إلى تقييم د رجة التنويع في الاقتصاد الجزائري، مع تشخيص وتحليل واقع القطاع الصناعي في ذات الفترة، وتقييم السياسات الحكومية، ومن أجل الإجابة على إشكالية الدراسة تم الاعتماد على المنهج التحليلي والوصفي، مع استخدام مؤشر هيرفندل-هيرشمان لقياس التنويع الاقتصادي. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها ان القطاع الصناعي الجزائري يعاني من خلل هيكلي ولا تزال مساهمته في الناتج الداخلي الخام دون المستوى المطلوب، نتيجة ضعف البنية التحتية والاعتماد على الاستيراد، وعدم استقرار السياسات الصناعية وغيرها من العوامل. ومن أجل تفعيل دوره على الحكومة أن تتخذ كافة الإجراءات التي من شانها أن تحسن بيئة الأعمال والاستثمار من تطوير رأس المال البشري وتمويل المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة، تشجيع الشراكات ونقل التكنولوجيا، وتعزيز الحوكمة والمراقبة، إضافة إلى دعم الصادرات الصناعية	en_US
