| Abstract: | تهدف هذه الدراسة الى تحليل وتقييم أثر تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال على النمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر خلال الفترة 2000-2022، في ظل التغيرات العالمية المتسارعة نحو الاقتصاد الرقمي، اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، مدعما بتحليل قياسي لقياس العلاقة بين مؤشرات تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال (كالانترنت، الهاتف النقال، عدد مستخدمي الشبكة) وبعض مؤشرات النمو الاقتصادي (مثل الناتج المحلي الاجمالي ونصيب الفرد منه) |
| Description: | This study aims to analyze and assess the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on economic growth in Algeria during the period 2000–2022, in light of the global shift towards a digital economy. The research adopts a descriptive and analytical methodology, supported by an econometric analysis to measure the relationship between ICT indicators (such as internet usage, mobile phone subscriptions, and network users) and economic growth indicators (such as GDP and GDP per capita). The findings indicate that ICT has a potentially positive role in supporting economic growth; however, its contribution remains limited due to several factors, including weak digital infrastructure, a shortage of technical skills, limited investment in innovation, and the lack of integrated digital policies. The study emphasizes the need to strengthen digital readiness, improve legislation related to digital transformation, and expand the use of digital solutions in key sectors to achieve more sustainable economic growth |
