| Abstract: | تعد رواية "الـــــطــاعـــــــون" لألــــــــبــيـر كــــــــامـــــــو نــــمـوذجا للكتابة السردية في ظل الوباء، إذ تجسد من خلال حبكتها وأسلوبها السردي كيف يتعامل الإنسان مع الخطر الجماعي والموت اليومي، تدور الرواية في مدينة وهران الجزائرية، حيث ينتشر وباء الطاعون، فيرصد كامو عبر السرد تحولات الناس النفسية والإجتماعية، بين اللامبالاة والذعر، وبين الأنانية والتضحية وتتميز الرواية بسردها الموضوعي القائم على الراوي المراقب، الذي يقدم الأحداث ببرودة ظاهرية, تعكس فلسفة العبث التي تقوم عليها أعمال كامو، كما تستند الكتابة السردية إلى لغة دقيقة، ووصف حسي مكثف يعمق من وقع الكارثة على القارئ، ويظهر في الرواية البعد الإنساني من خلال مواقف الأطباء والمواطنين، ما يجعلها شهادة أدبية وأخلاقية على معنى المقاومة والصبرفي وجه الوباء. وقد مثلت الطاعون سردا رمزيا يعكس ليس فقط الأوبئة الطبيعية, بل أيضا الطغيان والإستبداد, مما يمنحها راهنية دائمة في تحليل الكوارث الجماعية. |
| Description: | Albert Camus's novel “The Plague” is a prominent example of narrative writing in the shadow of the pandemic, as it embodies through its plot and narrative style how humans deal with collective danger and daily death. The novel is set in the Algerian city of Oran, where the plague epidemic is spreading, and Camus observes through the narrative the psychological and social transformations of people, between indifference and panic, and between selfishness and sacrifice . The novel is characterized by its objective narrative based on an observant narrator, who presents events with an apparent coldness that reflects the philosophy of absurdity that underlies Camus's work. The narrative writing is based on precise language and intense sensory descriptions that deepen the impact of the catastrophe on the reader. The novel shows the human dimension through the attitudes of doctors and citizens, making it a literary and moral testimony to the meaning of resistance and patience in the face of the epidemic. “The Plague” is a symbolic narrative that reflects not only natural epidemics, but also tyranny and despotism, giving it an enduring relevance in analyzing mass disasters. |
