| dc.description | This dissertation examines the process of urban expansion in the city of Ksar El Boukhari during the colonial period. The city is considered one of the Algerian urban centers that underwent significant geographical transformations as a result of French settler-colonial policies. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) were employed as an analytical tool to trace the evolution of the urban fabric and to monitor land use changes and the spread of urban construction. The study aims to understand the nature and dimensions of this urban expansion by identifying the historical and political factors that contributed to the reshaping of the urban space. It also analyzes the impacts of these transformations on both geographic and demographic levels. The research adopts a historical methodology combined with spatial analysis, supported by digital maps and aerial imagery, which shed light on the dynamics of urban growth in Ksar El Boukhari during the colonial era. | dc.description.abstract | تتناول هذه المذكرة دراسة التوسع العمراني في مدينة قصر البخاري خلال فترة الاستعمار، حيث تُعتبر هذه المدينة واحدة من المدن الجزائرية التي شهدت تحولات جغرافية ملحوظة نتيجة السياسات الاستيطانية الفرنسية. تم استخدام نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (GIS) كأداة تحليلية لتتبع تطور النسيج العمراني للمدينة ورصد التغيرات في الأرض وتوسع البناء الحضري. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى فهم طبيعة التوسع العمراني وأبعاده من خلال تحديد العوامل التاريخية والسياسية التي ساهمت في إعادة تشكيل المجال، بالإضافة إلى تحليل تأثيراته على المستويين الجغرافي والديموغرافي. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج التاريخي والتحليل المكاني المدعوم بالخرائط الرقمية والصور الجوية، مما ساعد في تسليط الضوء على ديناميكيات النمو الحضري في قصر البخاري خلال الحقبة الاستعمارية وتفسير أنماط التوسع في سياقها العام. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن التوسع العمراني لم يكن عفويًا، بل جاء نتيجة لرؤية استعمارية موجهة تهدف إلى خدمة مصالح المستوطنين وإعادة هيكلة الفضاء بما يتناسب مع احتياجاتهم | en_US |
