dc.description	The study aimed to understand the factors influencing the choice of names, considering them a fundamental element in shaping both individual and collective identity. It adopted a methodological framework that combines theoretical approaches with field analysis, drawing on sociological theories such as functionalism, critical theory, structuralism, and symbolic interactionism to analyze the meanings and connotations associated with names. The study revealed that names in Algerian society are not merely tools for personal identification but rather carry cultural, religious, and historical symbols that express affiliations, orientations, and social values. It also highlighted the influence of historical contexts (such as colonialism), social changes (such as value transformations), and media (such as mass communication) in shaping naming patterns. The findings indicate an overlap between traditional, religious, and foreign names, reflecting individuals' attempts to balance authenticity and modernity. The study concluded that names serve as a mirror of societal transformations and a valuable lens for understanding cultural and symbolic shifts in contemporary Algerian society	en_US
dc.description.abstract	هدفت الدراسة إلى فهم العوامل التي تؤثر في اختيار الأسماء، باعتبارها عنصرًا جوهريًا في تشكيل الهوية الفردية والجماعية، وقد اعتمدت على إطار منهجي يجمع بين المقاربة النظرية والتحليل الميداني، مستنِدة إلى نظريات سوسيولوجية مثل الوظيفية، والنقدية، والبنائية، والرمزية التفاعلية، لتحليل المعاني والدلالات المرتبطة بالأسماء، بيّنت الدراسة أن الأسماء في المجتمع الجزائري ليست مجرد وسيلة تعريفية، بل تحمل رموزًا ثقافية ودينية وتاريخية تعبّر عن الانتماءات والاتجاهات والقيم الاجتماعية، كما أظهرت تأثير السياقات التاريخية (كالاستعمار)، والاجتماعية (كالتحولات القيمية)، والإعلامية (كوسائل الإعلام)، في تشكيل أنماط التسمية، وتوصلت إلى أن هناك تداخلاً بين الأسماء التقليدية والدينية والأجنبية، مما يعكس محاولة الأفراد التوازن بين الأصالة والمعاصرة، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أهمية الأسماء كمرآة للتحولات المجتمعية، وأداة لفهم التغيرات الثقافية والرمزية في المجتمع الجزائري المعاصر	en_US
