dc.description	The present study aims to explore the relationship between cognitive load and problem-solving ability among secondary school students. A correlational descriptive method was employed, and the study sample consisted of 100 male and female students selected intentionally. The instruments used included the Cognitive Load Scale developed by Professor Daniel J. Carter and the Problem-Solving Ability Scale developed by Morris. After collecting the data, it was analyzed using the SPSS software. The study yielded several findings, the most significant of which were: a high level of cognitive load among secondary school students, accompanied by a high level of problem-solving ability. Additionally, the results indicated a weak and statistically non-significant inverse relationship between cognitive load and problem-solving ability among secondary school students	en_US
dc.description.abstract	تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين الحمل المعرفي وقدرة حل المشكلات لدى تلاميذ الثانوي تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي وقد قدرت عينة الدراسة ب 100 تلميذ وتلميذة وتم اختيار العينة بطريقة قصدية، قمنا بتطبيق أدوات المتمثلة في مقياس الحمل المعرفي للبروفيسورDaniel J. Carter ومقياس القدرة على حل المشكلات من اعداد (Morris) كما قمنا بعد جمع البيانات بتحليلها باستخدام برنامج Spss. وقد استخلصنا مجموعة من النتائج كان من أهمها؛ أن الحمل المعرفي مرتفع لدى تلاميذ الثانوي، مع وجود مستوى مرتفع من القدرة على حل المشكلات؛ اضافة الى وجود علاقة عكسية ضعيفة وغير دالة احصائيا بين المستوى الحمل المعرفي والقدرة على حل المشكلات لدى تلاميذ التعليم الثانوي	en_US
