| Abstract: | تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز مدى أهمية دور القطاع الزراعي في تحقيق الأمن الغذائي في الوطن العربي، وكان الهدف من البحث التطرق إلى عرض أهمية الزراعة في الوطن العربي والتي تعتبر كوسيلة تساعد على تحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية للنهوض بالأمن الغذائي في الوطن العربي من دائرة التبعية والاستيراد التي أصبحت من أبرز المشاكل التي يواجهها العالم في الوقت الراهن. وقد تم التوصل إلى أن القطاع الزراعي من الرغم مما يحوزه من إمكانيات بشرية ومادية إلا انه غير قادر على تحقيق الاكتفاء الذاتي للسكان وذلك يرجع إلى قلة الأمطار وعدم انتظامها خلال الموسم الزراعي وعدم الاعتماد على تقنيات متطورة وذكية في الزراعة، كما أن معظم الدول العربية تقع في مناطق جافة وشبه جافة، كما أنها لازالت تعاني من فجوة غذائية أثقلت عاتقها وجعلت مسألة الأمن الغذائي في منعرج خطير. |
| Description: | This study aims to highlight the importance of the role of the agricultural sector in achieving food security in the Arab world. The aim of the research was to present the importance of agriculture in the Arab world, which is considered as a means to help achieve development goals to advance food security in the Arab world from the circle of dependency and importation, which has become one of the most prominent issues facing the world at the present time. It was concluded that the agricultural sector, despite its human and material potential, is unable to achieve self-sufficiency for the population due to the lack of rainfall and its irregularity during the agricultural season and the lack of reliance on advanced and smart techniques in agriculture, and most Arab countries are located in arid and semi-arid regions, and they are still suffering from a food divide that has burdened them and made the issue of food security at a dangerous juncture . |
