Description: The current study aims to know the nature of the social representations of marriage to working women and to identify the most important factors influencing them. Our study started from a problem that states: “What is the nature of social representations of marriage to working women, and what are the factors influencing them?” The two studies were applied to employees from the headquarters of the municipality of Tiaret. On a sample of 70 samples chosen randomly, we relied in the study on the descriptive approach as it is the most appropriate approach in our study. Our study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which are: ? There are positive social representations of the idea of marrying a working woman. ? Social representations of marriage to working women are affected by cultural and economic factors that have been achieved. ? Some people show appreciation for working women based on their belief in the importance of women's economic independence ? Others may highlight the balance between work and family life, arguing that work should not come at the expense of family duties.
