| Description: | The symbolism of coffee in the social imagination in the urban environment This study aimed to understand the cultural, social, economic, psychological, health and aesthetic symbolism of coffee in the social imagination of individuals in urban settings. In order to achieve these goals, we divided them into two aspects, one theoretical and another applied, where the theoretical side included the presentation of concepts about coffee and social imagination, but on the applied side, we conducted a field study in the urban center in the city of Tiaret based on the sample of the deanship, consisting of 30 individuals according to sex and age, and the qualitative approach was relied on to be in line with this type with the studies by conducting several interviews to mediate a set of results: Coffee has several tales and legends about the history of its discovery and its place of origin. Coffee is a common consumer in all parts of the world Coffee plays an important role in building the cultural and social of societies. Coffee has many benefits, making it a basic material in many uses |
