| Abstract: | برز مع مطلع القرن العشرين في الجزائر الفكر النهضوي الذي قادته العائلات الجزائرية بغيت إخراج المجتمع الجزائر من حالة الأمية والجهل والاندثار الثقافي ، وهنا تجلى دور النخبة المثقفة التي حملت مشعل استمرارية النضال ضد مستعمر غاشم ، وهذا ما أدى إلى ظهور عائلة بن بريهمات التي برزت في مختلف المجالات على غرار التعليم والقضاء والترجمة والتأليف لتترك بذلك بصمت واضحة في الحياة الثقافية خلال الحقبة الفرنسية خاصة أن أفراد هذه العائلة كانوا من المثقفين مزدوجي الثقافة العربية الفرنسية ، أمثال حسن وأحمد وعمر الذين تجلت مواقفهم السياسية اتجاه الإدارة الفرنسية من خلال أعمالهم الفكرية التي عالجوا فيها مختلف القضايا الاجتماعية |
