Abstract:	تهدف هذه الدراسة الى معرفة التغيرات السوسيوثقافية وعلاقتها بظاهرة الطلاق في الوسط الحضري، من منطلق معرفة مختلف الضغوط الاسرية والاجتماعية التي تتعرض لها الزوجة والزوج، وأثر الانفتاح الذي شهده المجتمع الجزائري على الثقافات العالمية
Description:	This study aims to identify the relationship between socio -cultural changes and the phenomenon of divorce in urban areas, based on knowledge of the different family and social pressures to which the wife and husband are exposed, and the impact of opennessfrom which Algerian society benefits. witnessing global cultures, and the impact of this on one's values and perceptions of one's lifestyle, and one's relationship with the other party and with one's society, and trying to adapt one's new values to the traditional cultural model dominant and. the values of submission and obedience that it conveys, and the glorification of kinship ties and neighborly relations. After a field study of a sample of divorced men and women from two urban areas, it was revealed that there is a strong relationship between the social changes that society is witnessing regarding the status of men and women and the distribution of power within new families. , and individuals' absorption of modern values such as freedom and independence due to acculturation and high divorce rates in both urban areas.
