| Description: | Children's literature is a refined field that helps shape and develop a child's personality, preparing them to take on responsibilities as part of the cultural and national struggle. This study explores the portrayal of Palestine in children's literature, focusing on its impact on young generations by deepening their national identity, historical and political awareness, conveying values and principles, and preserving heritage and culture. Furthermore, this literature aims to reinforce national identity and enhance the sense of national and communal belonging in children, whether Arab or otherwise. To enrich the theoretical aspect, we studied both electronic and printed literary models to uncover their role in nurturing children and solidifying national identity at various stages of their development and beyond, in establishing a sense of belonging. |
