Résumé: Learning is undoubtedly always affected by multiple factors such as intelligence, incentive, adequate environment, family and social parameters, quality of school and education, educator etc. Emotional intelligence is one of the variables which are tightly related to learners‟ learning styles. It has been described as skill, knowledge, and understanding, which can guide learners‟ incentives to be successful in their studies, in stricto senso, and their future lives, in lato senso. On the other hand, learning styles involve learners‟ methods for processing information in learning new concepts. The main goal of this dualfocused descriptive-interpretive study is to ascertain the influential relationship between these two variables, viz. emotional intelligence and learning styles, as regards the learning process. Differently couched, the pivotal aim behind such a premise is to check to what extent these aforementioned variables may affect the teaching-learning process. It should be noted that emotional intelligence which is a psychological aspect is assumed to be ancillary and peripheral. To conduct this study, a mix method is adopted; a questionnaire directed to 50 middle school learners and an interview conducted with 15 EFL teachers. The gleaned data reveal that emotional intelligence has an undeniable influence on learners‟ learning styles.
