Résumé:	هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على واقع الكشف والتكفل بالأطفال الموهوبين والمتفوقين بالمدرسة الابتدائية، وذلك عن طريق جمع معلومات حول الموضوع من خلال أداة من إعداد الباحثة، تكونت من بعدين: الأول تضمن آلية الكشف، في حين خصص الثاني لآلية التكفل. تم استعمال المنهج الوصفي ومجموعة من الأساليب الحسابية كالتكرارات والنسب المئوية، حيث أسفرت النتائج على اعتماد القائمين على العملية التعليمية التعلمية في عملية الكشف على الاختبارات التحصيلية، فضلا عن ترشيحات المعلمين وآراء الأولياء، كما أن برامج التكفل المعمول بها هي برامج تخضع لمبادرات شخصية من المعلمين والمديرين، في غياب التخطيط المحكم لها ومتابعتها وتقويمها، مع عدم وجود تنسيق ما بين المدرسة والأسرة، وكذا غياب دور المختص النفساني.
