| Abstract: | سوف أعرض في هذه الدراسة الأثرية و التاريخية أهمّ الفرق المساعدة للفيلق الأغسطسي والتي إعتمدها الإمبراطور سيبتيميوس سيفيروس(مؤسس المقاطعة النوميدية في 197م) لإستكمال سياسته التّوسّعيّة جنوب المقاطعة النّوميديّة، وهذا بتحقيق أثريّ لكل النقائش التي عثرت في المقاطعة والتي ذكرت هذه الفرق، وهذا العمل هو تفصيل وتدقيق فإضافات لما جاء في دراسات سابقة. بعض هذه الفرق استحدثت خلال هذه الفترة و بعضها الآخر كان موجودا من قبل، وهذا ما سنستعرضه خلال هذه الدراسة حيث أوكلت إليها مهمات عدة حسب مواقع إنتشارها. ويبدو أنّ الإمبراطور سيبتيميوس سيفيروس قد نقل خبرته العسكرية بالمقاطعات المشرقيّة و اعتمد على مجنّدين من هذه المنطقة في هذه الفرق المساعدة. ولقد راعى في ذلك التشابه في المناخ والتضاريس وكذا طبيعة الأهالي ونشاطهم |
| Description: | This article is an archaeological and historical survey about the auxiliary troops of the Augustan legion in Numidia during the reign of the Severian familly ,the province had been founded by Septimius Severus in the year of 197 AD, and a very important project of annexation and military extension was launched as well by the same emperor, and had been finished by his successors. In this study I will display the archaeological evidences of the recruited troops which took part in this project and their despatching sites in the southern of Numidia, this evidences is reduced to the epigraphy that had been discovered in diffrent sites and military camps in this province which provided information about the origins of these troops and their missions and types. |
