| Résumé: | سنقدم في هذه الورقة الحملات العسكرية لتحرير مدينة وهران من الاحتلال الاسباني التي قادها أو شاركت فيها إحدى الفئات الاجتماعية بالجزائر والذين أطلق عليهم لقب الأعلاج في الجزائر، وكان لهذه الفئة مساهمة كبيرة في تحرير المدينة من الإسبان عند التحرير الأول 1708، والتحرير الثاني 1791. بدأت هذه المحاولات من منتصف القرن السادس عشر كمحاولة حسن قورصو والعلج علي وسليمان قطانية والعلج شعبان اغا والعلج ميزومورتو، واستمرت هذه المحاولات حتى القرن الثامن عشر مع حكام ورياس البحر من الأعلاج وأثبتت الإحصاءات أنهم كانوا يمثلون بين 10-50% من الجيش الجزائري نهاية القرن 18. وما يلاحظ أن أكثر الحملات العسكرية لتحرير مدينة وهران كانت في فترة حكام من الأعلاج، وهي أكثر من الحملات العسكرية التي قادها الحكام العثمانيين بالجزائر وتفند الدعاية الأوروبية أن التحول للإسلام في تلك الفترة كان من اجل المال والجنس فقط. |
| Description: | In this paper, we will present the military campaigns to liberate the city of Oran from the Spanish occupation, which was led by one of the social groups in Algeria who were named the renegades in Algeria. This category had a significant contribution to the liberation of the city from the Spanish at the first liberation of 1708, and the second liberation of 1791. These attempts began from the middle of the sixteenth century, such as the ones led by Hassan Korso, Renegade-Ali, Suleiman Kattania, RenegadeShaban Agha and Al-Mizumorto. These attempts continued until the 18th century, with rulers and sea-heads from the renegades. Statistics showed that they represented between 10-50% of the Algerian army at the end of the 18th century. It is noteworthy that most military campaigns to liberate the city of Oran were in the period of the renegades’ ruling, more than the military campaigns led by the Ottoman rulers in Algeria and refutes the European propaganda that the conversion of Islam at that time was for money and sex only.
