Résumé:	يهدف المقال إلى بيان التوجه المعرفي الذي يؤسس له محمد أركون في الفكر الإسلامي المعاصر، من خلال اهتمامه بعلوم الإنسان والمجتمع. وفي هذا نجده يؤسس لمفهوم جديد عن الإسلام يختلف عن الإسلام بالمفهوم التقليدي. فالإسلام التقليدي في نظره بقي مرتبط بأمور مفروضة تقيد حرية الفكر وتمنعه من الاجتهاد في مختلف العلوم، بينما الإسلام المعاصر يحتاج إلى إعمال العقل من أجل الانفتاح على مختلف العلوم، التي يجب الاستفادة منها في حياة المسلمين. يتركز اهتمامنا في هذا المقال على بيان نقطة التحول التي يؤسس لها أركون في الانتقال بالإسلام من مفهومه التقليدي إلى مفهومه الحداثي والمعاصر.
Description:	This article aims to demonstrate the cognitive approach that Mohammed Arkoun is establishing in contemporary Islamic thought through his interest in the sciences of man and society. In this respect, we find that he is establishing a new concept of Islam that differs from the one of the traditional one. Traditional Islam, for him, has remained linked to the imposed matters that restricted freedom of thought and prevented him from practicing well the various sciences. Contemporary Islam requires the function of the mind in order to open up to various sciences, which should be utilized in the lives of Muslims. In this article, we focus on the point of departure that Arkoun sets in the transition of Islam from its traditional concept to its modern and contemporary one.
