Abstract: The aim behind this present dissertation is to investigate the main problem of managing large (EFL) classes. Nowadays, the shortage of teachers and classrooms combined with the increasing number of students in universities have caused class overcrowding to appear. This problem is the biggest obstacle that influences both teachers and students in general, as it effects the teaching/learning process. Therefore, teachers and students have faced difficulties to work together and to create an appropriate intellectual atmosphere based on mutual respect and collaboration.
