dc.description	The present study aims to stand on the arguments of the discourse of the introduction in Lessen Al Arab dictionary by Ibn Mandhur, he employed various argumentative mechanisms in his introduction that made his dictionary one of the most widely used. So, how could Ibn Mandhur convince people and urge them to read the dictionary and use it through his style of introduction? The introduction of lessen Al Arab dictionary could be a comprehensive discourse that employed the most important persuasive elements of argument that made it a linguistic wealth a learner of the Arabic language can never dispense with it.	en_US
