Abstract:	هدفت الدراسة إلى استكشاف التحديات الرئيسية التي تواجه المهنة المكتبية في ظل التطورات المتسارعة للذكاء الاصطناعي وتطبيقاته المتنوعة. كما سعت إلى تحليل التحديات والفرص التي يتيحها الذكاء الاصطناعي للأدوار التقليدية للمكتبات والعاملين فيها، مُبرزةً كيف تعيد التقنيات الحديثة، مثل الأتمتة والتعلم الآلي، صياغة بيئة العمل. تُظهر الدراسة أن اعتماد الذكاء الاصطناعي يمكن أن يعزز الكفاءة التشغيلية، ويحسن جودة الخدمات، ويقدم حلولًا مبتكرة للمستفيدين. ومع ذلك، فإنه يثير تساؤلات حول مستقبل بعض المهام الروتينية. وتتمثل أبرز التحديات في ضرورة اكتساب مهارات رقمية جديدة، والتغلب على مقاومة التغيير التنظيمي، وتأمين البيانات في ظل الأنظمة الذكية. كما تؤكد الدراسة أن استمرارية المهنة المكتبية وازدهارها يعتمدان بشكل كبير على قدرة العاملين والمؤسسات على التكيف مع هذه التطورات. وتدعو إلى تبني استراتيجيات فعّالة تركز على تنمية المهارات البشرية المعرفية والإبداعية التي تميز الإنسان عن الآلة، وعلى دمج الذكاء الاصطناعي كأداة داعمة، لا كبديل. وتختتم الدراسة بالتأكيد على أن مستقبل المهنة المكتبية يكمن في التعاون المثمر بين الكفاءات البشرية والتقنيات الذكية لابتكار خدمات مكتبية أكثر فاعلية واستجابة لاحتياجات العصر الرقمي
Description:	This study aims to explore the significant challenges confronting the library profession amidst the rapid advancement and growing application of Artifial intelligence. The study aims to analyze both the challenges and opportunities that AI poses to the traditional roles of libraries and their staff, highlighting how modern technologies such as automation and machine learning are reshaping the library work environment. The study clarifies that the adoption of AI can significantly enhance operational efficiency improve service quality and deliver innovative solutions to users, yet also raises questions about the future of certain routine tasks. Emphasis is placed on key challenges including the necessity of acquiring new digital skills overcoming organizational resistance to change and ensuring data Security within intelligent systems. The study asserts that the continued relevance and prosperity of the library profession largely depend on the ability of its professionals and institutions to adapt these developement of human cognitive and creative skills ,which distinguich humans from machines and on integrating AI as a supportive tool rather than a replacement. The study concludes by emphasizing that the future of the library profession lies in productive collaboration between human expertise and smart technologies to innovate more effective and responsive library services for the digital age
