Abstract:	برز مصطلح المفارقة في كثير من الدراسات النقدية والأدبية الحديثة بوصفه رسالة لغوية مشفّرة يرسلها كاتب فطن إلى قارئ واعٍ، ويحاول هذا البحث تتبع تجليات المفارقة في القصة القصيرة جدًا، من خلال مجموعة (فن التخلي) القصصية لكاتبها عبدالله ناصر، وتتخذ هذه الدراسة من الإطار النظري للتعريف بمفهوم المفارقة وعناصرها وأنماطها ووظائفها منطلقًا لها؛ إذ ترى أنّ المفارقة تقنية سردية تسهم في تشكيل الدلالة وإثراء تجربة التلقي، وإكساب النص رونقه وجماله لما تشرعه في ذهن القارئ من احتمالات وتأويلات، باعثةً في نفسه الألم والتسلية في آن واحد، وقد اختيرت المفارقة موضوعًا للدرس في هذه المجموعة لمّا تجلّت بوصفها سمةً أسلوبية بارزة وعنصرًا مهيمنًا. وخلص هذا البحث بعد التحليل الإجرائي لنصوص المجموعة القصصية -في ضوء المنهج التحليلي المستند لمبادئ الأسلوبية الحديثة- إلى حضور المفارقة وتجليها بوضوح في كل من العتبة النصية (العنوان) والمضمون النصي.
Description:	Abstract: The term paradox has emerged in many modern literary and critical studies as a coded-linguistic message sent by a shrewd writer to a conscious reader .This research attempts to trace the manifestations of the paradox in the very short story, through the collection “The Art of Abandonment” stories written by Abdullah Nasir. This study takes the theoretical framework for defining the concept of paradox, its components, patterns and functions as its starting point. If you see that the paradox is a narrative technique that contributes to shaping the connotation and enriching the experience of receiving, and giving the text its elegance and beauty due to the probabilities and interpretations it projects in the mind of the reader, Creating pain and amusement in itself at the same time, and the paradox was chosen as a topic for the lesson in this group when it manifested itself as a prominent stylistic feature and a dominant element. This research was concluded after the procedural analysis of the texts of the story group- In light of the analytical method based on the principles of modern stylistics - to the presence of the paradox and its clear manifestation in both the textual threshold (the title) and the textual content.
