dc.description	Abstract: Semiotics aims to investigate the world of meaning and the way it is formed. It takes meaning as a subject for analysis, revealing at the same time the laws and rules that control the generation of semantics, And what the semiotic reading focuses on is the search for the law that controls the grouping of the component parts of the text until the meaning is formed, and according to this definition the narrative texts are nothing but meanings manifestations. Algirdas Grimas has developed the narrative semiotic study by splitting it into three levels: the discursive, the narrative, and the deep level. Our research is summarized in reading one of the important novels in Moroccan literature, "The Bow and the Butterfly", which won the (Booker) prize, and through it we will attempt to reveal the connotations of the novel, benefiting from the semiotic reading. dc.description.abstract	تهدف السيميائيات إلى البحث في عالم المعنى وطريقة تشكله، فهي تتخذ المعنى موضوعا للتحليل كاشفة في الوقت نفسه عن القوانين والقواعد التي تتحكم في توليد الدلالة، ومما تركز عليه القـــراءة الســـيميائية البحـــث عـــن القانـــون الـــذي يتحكـــم فـــي تجميـــع الأجزاء المكونـــة للنـــص حتى يتشـــكل المعنى, ووفق هذا التحديد فالنصـــوص السردية ما هي إلا تمظهرات للمعاني. ولقد طور ألجيرداس غريماس الدراســـة الســـيميائية الســـردية فجعلها تنقسم إلى ثلاثة مستويات وهي: المســـتوى الخطابي, والمســـتوى الســـردي, والمســـتوى العميق. ويتلخص بحثنا في قراءة إحدى الروايات المهمة في الأدب المغربي وهي "السيف والفراشة" التي حظيت بجائزة من أكبر الجوائز (البوكر)، وسنحاول من خلاله أن نكشف عن دلالات الرواية، مستفيدين من القراءة السيميائية.	en_US
