dc.descriptionSummary: Through this article, we intend to provide some reflection/cogitation on the didactic approach to literature in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language (SFL) in the Algerian tertiary education. As an essential resource both for the training of SFL students and a fundamental subject in the syllabus, the present study on the teaching of literature is indeed justified. Consequently, in order to carry out our research, we have relied on a research methodology based on a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Indeed, to do so, we attempt to present the treatment of literature in both the 1971 and 2004 university reforms with a view to highlighting the contributions of the new LMD system reform with regard at the same time to the place of literature in the curriculum, and the appropriate fulfillment of the theoretical foundations of the reform. dc.description.abstractMediante el presente artículo, pretendemos aportar unas reflexiones sobre la aproximación didáctica a la literatura en la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera (ELE) en el contexto universitario argelino. Como recurso imprescindible para la formación de los estudiantes de ELE y asignatura fundamental en los planes de estudios se justifica el presente estudio relativo a la enseñanza de la literatura. Por consiguiente, para llevar a cabo nuestra investigación, nos hemos basado en una metodología de investigación apoyada en un estudio descriptivo con un enfoque cualitativo. En efecto, para ello, presentamos el tratamiento de la literatura tanto en la reforma universitaria de 1971 como en la de 2004 con vistas a resaltar los aportes de la reforma del nuevo sistema LMD respecto al lugar de la literatura en el plan de estudios y el cumplimiento de los referentes fundamentos teóricos propios a la reforma.
