| dc.description | Summary: Numerous are the novelists who wrote about the history of Spain, precisely the African War of 1859-1860. The theme of that war became a first-hand fictionalized matter, treating it with heroic exaltation as a reconciling medium for Spain like her compatriots. Stories with diverse characters covered this period, along with romanzers, short stories, extensive novels and national episodes in which the narration of real events is shaped by the romantic ideals of the time. All the novels of 1859 chewed the truths to draw a people united by national love. Later, came the realistic narrative with didactic-realistic works to criticize the novel of 1859 and tell the truths about said military campaign. | dc.description.abstract | Numerosos son los novelistas que escribieron sobre la historia de España, precisamente la Guerra de África de 1859-186O que su acontecer volvió una materia novelada de primera mano, tratándola con exaltación heroica y como un medio reconciliador para España y sus compatriotas. Relatos con caracteres diversos trataron este período, junto a romanceros, cuentos, novelas extensas y episodios nacionales en que la narración de acontecimientos reales se plasma con los ideales románticos de la época. Toda la novelística de 1859 mascó las verdades para dibujar un pueblo unido por el amor nacional. Después, vino la narrativa realista con obras de carácter didáctico-realista para criticar la novelística de 1859 y decir las verdades sobre dicha campaña militar. | en_US |
