dc.description.abstract | Many modern researches and contemporary studies have unanimously agreed on linking ancient Western rhetoric with modern ones, especially in the investigations of rhetoric–rhetorical images –based on persuasion and arguments, asserting that the Greeks were the ones who drew the plans for the rhetoric of persuasion and structured its rules, starting from the Sophists to Aristotle, its actual founder according to most researchers. Referring to the research he presented in this field, as he effectively contributed to the rationing of this science, simplifying its rules and laying its first building blocks, he made the rhetorical image a very important issue in order to establish his discourse based on persuasion and build its foundations. In fact, he showed its argumentative ability in discourse and its role in achieving persuasion, summarizing it from its typical function based on enjoyment. | en_US |
