Abstract

The hermeneutic circle was considered as an ontological mechanism to solve the problem of understanding and interpretation, by which everything must be understood from the part to the whole, from the whole to the part. And if this argument is valid for certain discourses which are both, then the art of interpretation in modern times which tried tries to transfer this circle into a more complicated argumentative situation, so that the hermeneutical circle is reshaped according to his bet argument on the one hand, and the search for an ontological structure of self by the power of understanding on the other. In this paper, we have chosen to compare what this circle looked like in classical hermeneutic discourse and with the hermeneutical circle in argumentation discourse.
