Abstract: Mastering a language doesn’t include only its linguistic aspects, but it also consists of its cultural ones. English as a foreign language has increased globally through teaching and learning processes. However, its culture has had serious impacts on students’ attitudes, emotions, and values. to confirm this, a mixed method is adopted, including a questionnaire administered to 60 Master one students from the English section at Ibn-Khaldoun University, and a checklist directed to other students from the same level. It is a sort of corpus analysis implemented via providing them with English idioms and expecting their mutual understanding of the English culture. The findings reveal that the majority of students have learned the English culture only through recent tools, such as social media, media, novels, movies and songs. Subsequently, the aforementioned samples become aware of the significance of the target language and its culture, which should be implemented in the Algerian teaching English curriculum.
