dc.description.abstractThis paper deals with the ideologies and power delivered in the Algerian Media throughout the use of Critical discourse analysis approach, which is a critical, interdisciplinary approach or a research tool to investigate language in terms of the social factors. The objective of this research is to investigate and extract the powers and ideologies delivered to the people in Algeria during the 2021 summer wildfires. In order to establish well conducted research, we use used the critical discourse analysis framework model of Norman Fairclough as a method of research which has three dimensions, which are as follow: text analysis, processing analysis and social analysis, this tool was used in this paper to analyze Facebook posts and articles from different official newspapers. The main powers that have been found were of language itself, the government power in controlling the newspapers, while the ideologies are only sent to the people which are: the extinguishment of “sedition”, the fire of sedition among the people, keeping the unity of the Algerian people and community and Algeria’s safetyen_US
