dc.description	Our research addressed polyphony in the contemporay arabic novel ,with a reading of saraya , the dugther of the ghoul by emile habiby . This is a modernsit thechnique that contemporay texts have witnessed ,characterized by the multiplicity of voices in the novel. It is based on linguistic diversity and the presence of multiple interacting characters - in other words , a dialogic and pluralistic narrative , this multiplicity also extends to various elements such as time , place ,ideologies , narrative perspectives (pronouns ) ; and style .we also dicussed the characteristics of polyphony and monologism,and we explored the foundational components on which the polyphonic nove lis built.	en_US
