dc.description	This memorandum addresses the ordeals faced by scholars in Morocco and al-Andalus during the Middle Ages, particularly amid the political and religious transformations that the region underwent. Scholars encountered various forms of persecution, including oppression, exile, imprisonment, or even execution, due to their intellectual positions or legal interpretations that clashed with ruling authorities or dominant religious currents. These tribulations affected figures such as Ibn Hazm, Ibn Rushd, and Al-Suhayli, among others, who paid the price for their scholarly and intellectual stances. The study highlights how these hardships influenced the development of thought and knowledge in the region, and how scholars continued their contributions despite the constraints and difficulties—reflecting their resilience and pivotal role in preserving the scientific and cultural identity of al-Andalus and Morocco	en_US
dc.description.abstract	تتناول هذه المذكرة موضوع المحن التي تعرض لها العلماء في المغرب والأندلس خلال العصور الوسطى، خاصة في ظل التحولات السياسية والدينية التي عرفتها المنطقة. فقد واجه العلماء محناً متعددة تمثلت في الاضطهاد، النفي، السجن، أو حتى القتل، بسبب مواقفهم الفكرية أو اجتهاداتهم الفقهية التي لم توافق السلطات الحاكمة أو التيارات الدينية السائدة. وشملت هذه المحن علماء مثل ابن حزم، ابن رشد، السهيلي وغيرهم، الذين دفعوا ثمن مواقفهم العلمية والفكرية. وتُبرز الدراسة كيف أثرت هذه المحن في تطور الفكر والعلم في المنطقة، وكيف واصل العلماء عطاؤهم رغم القيود والصعوبات، مما يعكس صمودهم ودورهم المحوري في الحفاظ على الهوية العلمية والحضارية للأندلس والمغرب	en_US
