dc.description	This study examines the views of the Egyptian thinker Taha Hussein on Arab heritage and his critical and intellectual engagement with it. It analyzes Taha Hussein's vision, which revolves around the necessity of rational criticism of heritage and his rejection of traditional acceptance without ensuring its suitability for the requirements of the modern era. He emphasized the application of reason in interpreting heritage texts. The study highlights how Hussein criticized traditional heritage and sought to renew Arab thought, calling for the importance of liberation from prevailing cultural constraints. It also examines Hussein's role in shaping Arab identity through his literary works, such as "The Days" and "Pre-Islamic Poetry," which reflect his ideas about Arab heritage. This study examines his position on the idea of "returning to heritage," as an attempt to cling to the past. He points to the necessity of progressing toward the future and the vital role of rational criticism in building a conscious nation capable of engaging with its cultural heritage in a way that enhances its progress and development	en_US
dc.description.abstract	يعالج الموضوع آراء المفكر المصري طه حسين حول التراث العربي وكيفية تعاملاته النقدية والفكرية معه، من خلال تحليل رؤية طه حسين التي تتمحور حول ضرورة النقد العقلاني للتراث ورفض تقبله بشكل تقليدي دون التأكد من ملائمته لمتطلبات العصر الحديث، حيث شدد على إعمال العقل في تفسير النصوص التراثية، ويبرز البحث كيف قام حسين بانتقاد التراث التقليدي، والسع نحو تجديد الفكر العربي، داعيا الى أهمية التحرر من القيود الثقافية السائدة، كما يستعرض دور حسين في تشكيل الهوية العربية من خلال أعماله الأدبية مثل "الأيام" و"الشعر الجاهلي " التي تعكس أفكاره حول التراث العربي، وتشكل هذه الدراسة موقفه من فكرة " الرجوع الى التراث" باعتبارها محاولة للتمسك بالماضي مشيرا الى ضرورة التقدم نحو المستقبل، والدور الحيوي للنقد العقلاني في بناء أمة واعية قادرة على التعامل مع موروثها الثقافي بشكل يعزز من تقدمها وتطورها	en_US
