dc.description	Coastal protection is an important issue for environmental protection actors, both internationally and internally. Until 2010, the United Nations believed that 80% of the world's population would live along a coastal strip of 100 thousand kilometres. Algeria was no exception to that phenomenon, and the competent authorities in Algeria were working hard to protect the 1,200-kilometre coast on the Mediterranean coast in order to preserve the country's enormous ecological wealth. dc.description.abstract	حماية السواحل تُعتبر قضية هامة للفاعلين في مجال حماية البيئة، سواء على الصعيد الدولي أو الداخلي، حتى عام 2010، كانت الأمم المتحدة تعتقد أن80 % من سكان العالم سيعيشون على طول شريط ساحلي الذي يمتد لمسافة 100 ألف كيلومتر، فالجزائر ليست استثناءً من هذه الظاهرة، وتعمل السلطات المختصة في الجزئر بجد على حماية الساحل الذي يمتد لنحو 1200كيلومتر على ساحل البحر الأبيض المتوسط، وذلك للحفاظ على الثروات الإيكولوجية الهائلة التي تمتلكها البلاد، بإنشاء العديد من الهيئات المساهمة في تحقيق هدفها	en_US
