dc.descriptionIn recent years, the world has witnessed a digital revolution in all fields, which has clearly impacted the global system's structure. One of the sectors most affected by and influential in this development is the banking sector, where electronic banking is considered the most recent trend. Through it, electronic banking has been able to fill the gap left by traditional banking in providing banking services that meet customer needs and respond to market requirements in an era characterized by speed and the shrinking of spatial and temporal distances through the latest technology from electronic banks, virtual cash, and others. In this way, Algeria has moved towards adopting this advanced approach to banking as part of its banking system reform and enhancing communication with the global economy in the face of intense competition The main aim of this study is to shed light on the reality of electronic banking in Algerian banks and the extent of its implementation. This study focused on one of the most prominent Algerian banks, the National Bank of Algeria's Tiaret 540 Agency, which always seeks to provide electronic means, media, and systems in offering its services. However, the results indicate the weakness of electronic banking and the limited electronic services provided by Algerian banks compared to other countries. Therefore, addressing this weakness and delay is necessary and urgent to achieve the digital economic development of the countryen_US
