dc.description	Our study focused on the topic of the era of sects in the writings of orientalists, a period in the history of Andalusia that witnessed the fragmentation of Islamic rule in the Iberian Peninsula into a number of small warring kingdoms. This period received great attention from Arab historians, including Hussein Mu'nis, and oriental historians such as Reinhart Dosier, who sought to study and understand it. Their writings dealt with the era of sects from different angles, some of which were characterized by objectivity and neutrality, while others slipped into distortion and false interpretations.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	اهتمت دراستنا هذه بموضوع عصر الطوائف في كتابات المستشرقين وهي فترة في تاريخ الأندلس حيث شهدت تفتت الحكم الإسلامي في شبه الجزيرة الأيبيرية إلى عدد من الممالك الصغيرة المتناحرة. وقد حظيت هذه الفترة باهتمام كبير من قبل المؤرخين العرب منهم حسين مؤنس، ومؤرخين مستشرقين أمثال رينهارت دوزيه الذين سعوا لدراستها وفهمها، تناولت كتاباتهم عصر الطوائف من زوايا مختلفة، بعضها اتسم بالموضوعية والحيادية، بينما انزلق البعض الآخر في التحريف والتأويلات المغلوطة.	en_US
