dc.descriptionThis study addressed the concept of socialization and its relationship to gender identity, among the goals that the study sought to achieve was to identify, on the phenomenon and its understanding based on knowledge of socialization and revealing its impact on gender identity study conducted a qualitative approach, and data collection was based on interview and observation, where a sample interview was conducted, it consists 05 people. The result of the study produced the following results: -The greater the social interaction with the heterosexual family environment, the greater the likelihood of the emergence of gender upbringing consistent with nonstereotypical social images - The greater the social interaction with the opposite sex within the peer group, the greater the likelihood of reinforcing previous gender socialization. - The greater the exposure to non-stereotypical gender images in the media, the greater the likelihood of the emergence of gender socialization consistent with nonstereotypical social images.en_US
