dc.description	This research examines the question of modernity and philosophical independence using Nassif Nassar as a model. Nassif Nassar contends that modernity, at its core, is an ideological and political project serving the interests of the European elite and justifying their dominance over the non-European world. He also advocates for philosophical independence that would liberate philosophy from its Eurocentric constraints and allow for the development of an authentic philosophy inspired by the experiences of the non-European world.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	يدرس هذا البحث سؤال الحداثة و الاستقلال الفلسفي و قد أخذنا ناصيف نصار نموذجا لذلك، حيث نجد ناصيف نصار يدعي أن الحداثة في جوهرها هي مشروع أيد يولوجي و سياسي يخدم مصالح النخبة الأوروبية و يبرر هيمنتها على العالم غير الأوروبي. كما يدعو أيضا إلى الاستقلال الفلسفي أن يحرر الفلسفة من قيودها الأوروبية المركزية ويسمح بتطوير فلسفة أصيلة مستوحاة من تجارب العالم غير الأوروبي .	en_US
