dc.description.abstract | Investigating speech patterns Features within Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is crucial subject nowadays, since the number is increasing in the light of the lack awareness of this phenomenon. This study focuses on investigating speech patterns features within children with autism spectrum disorder focusing on echolalia, jargon and the metaphorical language. It aims to maintain the difficulties and challenges that face the autistic children in understanding and producing the language at semantic and pragmatic levels. For this reason, we designed a descriptive analytical case study research targeting children with autism spectrum disorder at psychiatry of Tiaret and Nour association in ksar Chellala. In order to undertake this research, we use mixed method to collect qualitative and quantitative data through using observation and interview as research instruments. The study is designed to describe autism spectrum disorder, to analyze the linguistic deficiencies within patient with autism and to explore the relationship between autism and language disorder. The results describe autism as psychological phenomenon and they analyze the linguistic features to find out the correlation between the autism and language disorder | en_US |
