| Description: | Aspects of colonial and folk medicine to confront diseases and epidemics in southeastern Algeria during the colonial period (1830-1954. This research deals with medicine and the role it played in the southeast of Algeria. In the beginning, the subject included the French health system in Algeria and its institutions. We also referred to the concept of folk medicine, which leads to the use of traditional methods in eliminating diseases, and the Wadi Souf and Ouargla were defined in terms of climate, water bodies, and the most important institutions and roads.
